This dance is taken from a famous cokek in the 19th century which was often performed in at Chinese community parties. The performance is accompanied by Gambang Kromong music. I the poetry describes,”the basin breaks,the chopping block breaks too,when will meet again,the girl comes home to ease the longing,until we’ll be together again”.
